- CAD Drafter
Location: Evansville, IN
Position Summary:
Use Inventor AutoCAD to prepare routine layouts and detailed drawings, sketches and diagrams. Project details include all product views and dimensions necessary for manufacture. CAD and Faro arm experience preferred. Research & Development and mining application experience a plus.
Essential Functions:
- Creates detail drawings of specific related application according to assignment by the CAD Supervisor. Experience with mechanical and hydraulic applications is required.
- Maintains regular contact with the CAD Supervisor in order to provide progress updates and receive feedback on drawings. Edits drawings according to advisement of the supervisor.
- Completes drawings by deadlines established in the project schedule. Works on multiple drawings at the same time when necessary.
- Supports manufacturing and field activities with technical interpretations and problem solving. Research standards for improvement opportunities.
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum two-year Technical School degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience. Must possess the ability to back-engineer components. Must be efficient in MS office products. Stay current on new Inventor CAD software.
- Mechanic
Location: Evansville, IN
Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to possess strong mechanic experience, especially as it relates to heavy equipment components. Must be able to adhere to company safety standards.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Checks tolerances, dimensions and specifications by using precision instruments, such as outside/inside micrometers, spring gauges (inside/outside), telescoping gauges, chrome thickness gauge, chrome hardness gauge, etc.
- Able to work on heavy equipment components to determine mechanical issue, ability to correct and restore and assemble piece to working order.
- Inspects torn-down components to identify defects and flaws.
- Assembles components by using specialized tools such as drills, presses, impacts, torque wrenches, Tuxco machine, etc.
- Cleans parts by chemical or mechanical methods (i.e. parts washer, rags, wire wheels, etc.) to remove excess dirt/debris
Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Degree/certification from auto tech school preferred, but not required. 2-5 years exp in similar position desired. Hydraulic cylinder experience a plus.
- Machinist
Location: Evansville, IN and Casper, WY
Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to meet customer needs by machining parts in a safe and efficient manner.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Maintains safe, secure environment by adhering to organization standards and policies.
- Use mathematical and mechanical reasoning to solve problems by making calculations to fabricate and repair parts to specification.
- Prepare for shift by performing machine inspection.
- Inspect finished parts by performing visual examination, measuring part for conformance to specification, signing off on work orders, scribing parts, and placing on skid.
- Determine order of fabrication for parts by reviewing work order.
- Monitor machine process by watching speed and feed of machine and examining part in process to identify developing problems.
- Fabricate parts to specification by determining size, center points, shape, and tolerances through evaluating blueprints, drawing, and sample parts and devising sequence of operation to build part through machining process.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. At least 3+ years of experience with manual lathe. CNC experience helpful, but not required.
- Transmission Mechanic
Location: Evansville, IN
Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to inspect, disassemble, diagnose and repair off road heavy equipment transmissions.
Essential Functions:
- Disassembles, inspect, diagnose and repair transmissions with various parts/components that have failed or are causing the malfunction
- Properly complete the appropriate inspection documentation
- Determine assemble/disassemble process by reading and understanding instructions in the Parts
- Manual and following drawing and schematics
- Adjusts pumps, bands, and gears as required, using proper tools
- Fill completed transmission with appropriate fluids
- Ensure mating parts are compatible by checking tolerances for proper fit
- Finalize all completed transmissions by forwarding to test room
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years experience working on heavy equipment transmission desired. Must have ability to work with various hand tools/micrometer. Ability to read and follow detail instructions. Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Programmer/Analyst
Location: Evansville, IN
Purpose:
The Systems Programmer/Analyst position requires strong business skills and would be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and occasionally modifying systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support application systems.
Essential Functions:
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT software projects and initiatives to
- support and enhance our existing systems
- Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes
- Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues and provide expert level support and troubleshooting of our Prelude ERP system and Unidata Backend Database
- Coordinate application development for multiple projects
- Assist in troubleshooting software application issues
- Assist in managing an outsource relationship for 3rd party application development and programming consultants
- Assist network administrator with application installation and testing
- Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements
- Analyze data contained in the corporate database and identify data integrity issues with existing and proposed systems and implement solutions
- Provides assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of applications and information technology
- Provide programming for some in-house IT projects
- Provide SQL administration in live and test environments
- Write technical procedures and documentation for the applications including operations, user guide, etc
- Produce technical documentation for new and existing applications
- Verify database and data integrity
- Participate on IT project steering committees and be involved in the design phase of any new
- IT software development projects
- Serve as a liaison and facilitator between all business units to assist in addressing and resolving IT software issues
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. 3+ years experience in similar position. Must have software development experience including HTML, CSS, JAVA, jQuery, PHP, MV, Basic, SB+ VB.net, Linx, Prelude, Server 2002/2008/2012 XP, XML/XSD, SOAP REST.
- Field Service Mechanics
Location: Florida, Texas
Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to travel offsite in company service vehicle and troubleshoot, repair and/or install off-road heavy equipment parts and components.
Essential Functions:
- Performs complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer owned equipment
- Maintains current knowledge of competitor products and keeps abreast of all changes in various models of equipment and components
- Reports each service call or repair job at the end of each shift, giving the following information on work performed, parts, problems encountered and time required
- Reports in complete detail as above with regard to warranty situations handled
- Brings to the attention of supervisor any additional work required on a unit
- Notifies supervisor if equipment or vehicle is not in serviceable condition or constitutes a safety hazard
- Conducts himself in the presence of customers in a manner which will retain a good opinion of the
- company and the Field Service Department
- Takes advantage of all opportunities to attend schools and training sessions in order to upgrade technical competence
- Follows all safety rules and regulations when performing work assignments
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent. Mechanical or technical schools is related field desired. Five (5) + years of mechanic repair and maintenance experience with Heavy Equipment. Ability to perform complex service repairs on off-road heavy equipment. Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic repairs . Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of heavy equipment . Must have a good driving record and ability to obtain a CDL. Must have or be able to obtain MSHA (mine safety training).
- System Administrator
Location: Evansville, IN
Purpose:
The System Administrator position requires strong troubleshooting skills and would be responsible for installing, updating, and monitoring network devices including Windows PC’s, Windows Servers, Linux Servers, Printers and other network devices such as routers/switches.
Essential Functions:
- Install new software releases and system upgrades. Evaluate and install software and firmware patches, and resolve problems related to both hardware and software.
- Perform system backups and recovery.
- Maintain data files and monitor the system configuration to ensure data integrity.
- Perform server and workstation systems administration using commonly-used practices and procedures in systems administration.
- Perform customer support functions including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and training, in response to customer requirements.
- Provide end-user support for all software applications in the computing environment. Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems in the computing environment.
- Manage user accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.
- Continuously monitor and analyze system performance in order to detect potential performance problems.
- Configure, optimize, and test network servers, hubs, routers, and switches, and ensure they comply with security policies, procedures, and technical requirements.
- Install, test, maintain, and upgrade network operating systems software and hardware to comply with customer and end-user requirements.
- Develop and implement access control lists on routers, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Perform systems administration in support of any servers and client workstations in the computing environment.
- Provide backend support for core ERP system and ancillary systems.
- Provide technical support for computerized manufacturing equipment.
- Continuously monitor best practices in the industry for best practices related to systems administration, and for available technologies that could improve the efficiency of operations.
- Submit recommendations concerning potential improvements in systems administration.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelors Degree or Associates degree in an Information Technology-related field or commensurate experience is required. 4+ years of experience in similar position. Experience with IBM p-Series/AIX UNIX. Installing and administering VM Ware environments. Proven experience with Cisco Network Devices – Cisco certs huge plus. Willingness to travel on occasion. Cisco Call Manager experience desired.
- Purchasing Agent
Location: Evansville, IN
Purpose:
Purpose is responsible for the procurement of commodities through the development and implementation of commodity strategies plans and the management of supplier relationship. Other areas of responsibility include price negotiation, planning and assist in maintaining inventory records.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible buying materials, parts, supplies and equipments in a timely and cost effective way; while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications
- Build and develop relationships with key suppliers, brokers and customers
- Work close with sales, production, inventory control to ensure proper (future) purchasing strategies
- Order materials and services as per negotiated and appropriately approved. Review quotations
- Prepare purchase requisitions, approve and issues purchase orders in accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions
- Maintain procurement files
- Approving payments of invoices up to limit allowed
- Track Purchasing activity and measurements
- Makes prompt business decisions about whether to buy particular assets in any particular situation
- Receives and contacts vendors to find out status of orders
- Contacts vendors to correct discrepancies with quantity and quality for orders
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Manage vendor relationships and assist in building effective partnerships
- Assist department in developing and implementing purchasing strategies for products
- Help to lower the cost and secure agreements
- Adhere to all ISO requirements as it regards to purchasing, inventory
- Liaise with Accounts Payable Department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor Degree preferred. Must possess 3+ years of experience in similar position within similar industry. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, inventory/warehouse management and distribution software desired. Above average computer and math skills. Ability to negotiate with vendors.
